We are so excited to be partnering with BITS Period as one of their Q3 Partners for 2026. BITS’ intention is to make period products more financially accessible by partnering with brands who chip in to cover the cost of 3 months worth of tampons, packaging and shipping, as well as contribute a product or discount code.

For so many women and non-binary folk in Australia, their menstrual cycle can be deeply intertwined with their mental health. PMDD (Pre Menstrual Dysphoria Disorder) is a condition that affects an estimate of 3-8% of Australians. In a study by Premenstrual Disorders Australia in 2023, of the 274 participants who identified as having PMDD, 77% of individuals, expressed having experienced suicidal ideation. This alarming statistic highlights the need for increased awareness and affordable interventions to address the risk of suicide and self-harm in PMDD patients. Similarly, endometriosis which affects roughly 14% of Australian girls, women, and those assigned female at birth, reportedly has a significant impact on the mental health of those diagnosed, as well as individuals seeking a diagnosis. Chronic pain, uncertainty regarding fertility and poor healthcare experiences during the diagnostic process can all cause distress, isolation and feelings of hopelessness.

Our partnership with BITS aims to support women who experience one of these conditions, as well as other period-havers who wish to seek additional support for their mental health. Individuals who signed up to the BITS Q3 email subscription (now closed), received an ongoing discount code that applies to all session types, including our reduced fee options like seeing a Provisional Psychologist.
