Autism Assessment
Our experienced psychologists are qualified in using the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition) system for assessing and diagnosing autism in Children and Adults.
The ADOS-2 system is a comprehensive assessment, meaning that parents will be able to give our written report to their paediatrician and provide it to their child’s school or kindergarten to potentially gain further support or aid.
We understand that having your child assessed for autism can be a stressful and an anxiety provoking time. Our psychologists are compassionate and skilled clinicians who pride themselves on educating and supporting parents throughout the process.
We conduct Autism Assessment that includes both an ADOS-2 Assessment as well as a Cognitive Assessment (either a WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WAIS-IV depending on client age). The assessment is conducted over 4 appointments (6 x 1 hour sessions) including:
Intake / Interview on History (double session ~2 hours)
ADOS-2 assessment session (single session ~ 1 hour)
Cognitive assessment session (double session ~ 2 hours)
Report/Feedback session (single session ~ 1 hour)
The Feedback session will be booked 4-6 weeks after the Assessment session, where a comprehensive written report will be provided, and the clinician will explain all results.
Pricing $3,300 (ADOS-2 + WISC-V / WPPSI-IV / WAIS-IV)
In some instances an ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) Assessment may also be required. ADHD assessment will be conducted during an additional appointment (double session) booked either between or following the ADOS-2/Cognitive assessment/s.
Pricing $4,100 (ADOS-2 + WISC-V + ADHD)
