Social Skills Program

The acquisition of social skills is important for children of all ages. Appropriate social skills enable children to engage positively with family and friends, leading to healthy relationships and enhanced learning outcomes.

Children attending the Social Skills Program will engage in learning programs that teach specific and target social skills, in a supportive atmosphere to provide comfort and stability.

The program specifically targets:

  • Waiting and turn taking
  • Sharing
  • Conversation skills
  • Cooperative and imaginative play
  • Social interaction with peers
  • Attention and responding to others
  • How to behave in social situations

There is also an opportunity to focus on individual and unique goals for your child.

The program will be run with a maximum of six children per group.  Two psychologists will run the program each session.

The Social Skills Program costs $1,000 and is run over 6 x 1.5 hour sessions.
